How can we hand over the ownership and belonging of the city to the citizens who are its stakeholders? Summary: My focus is about the ownership of the city to the citizen. The city we lived for long time, either since generations-long throughout our families, or emigrated more recently, states a bilateral ownership. In a sense, the certificate of the ownership of the city belongs to each of us; on the other hand we belong to the city. However, not much evidence of traces or footprints of us (me-myself) seems to appear in our public space. At the most, we see nameplates of streets or boulevards of famous persons like politicians, heroes, poets, or we may come along with public art works of artists, sculptors. Most likely, our names will be carved at cemeteries after our death, but why not our unique 'exlibris' 'stamp' take place at a spot in the city as a shareholder while we are still alive. "exlibris is a bookplate label pasted into a book cover to indicate ownership" With this opinion, I decided to implant exlibris stamps to public space, about a size of a postcard. In the survey conducted with Parisians, an 'exlibris' tile will be produced with a visual and typological graphic design work, which will be created in line with their visual tastes, with a 3D printer and will be placed in the spaces of public spaces.
