Non-EU immigrant rights in the light of EU labour, employment and social security laws

The research was aimed at investigating immigrants rights coming from non-EU countries in the fields of labour and employment law, and social security law. During the secondment the French system was compared to the Italian one, with a specific focus on the legal changes occurred over the past 20 years, in the light of the EU legal framework. The research was aimed at verifying whether the legal framework was consistent or not with the principles of non-discrimination and equality, as enshrined in the domestic constitutions and in EU law.
