Aadel Essaadani

Aadel Essaadani graduated in urban planning and urban sociology (Universities of Tours and Perpignan, France) and has a degree in the technical management of performing arts from Scaenica School (Sète, France). He was the co-director of "L'Institut des métiers du spectacle" (2003-2013), a training school for cultural and technical managers. Aadel is also an expert in cultural policy and an activist for human rights: he advocates for the inclusion of culture in public development policies. He is the co-founder of Racines (2010) and its General Coordinator since April 2015. Aadel was also Vice President (2011-2013) and President (2013-2015) of Arterial Network. He is co-founder of the African Cultural Policy Network (ACPN) and member of its Steering Committee.
