Juan Pecourt

Doctor in Sociology and Political Science from the University of Cambridge. Life member of Clare Hall College (Cambridge, United Kingdom). He is currently Professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Valencia (Spain). Author of the book "Los intelectuales y la transición política" (CIS, 2008) and co-author, together with Josep Picó, of the book "Los intelectuales nunca mueren" (RBA, 2013). He has also published a number of articles in national and international journals that have focused on the sociology of intellectuals, the sociology of culture and the mass media, as well as issues related to the emerging digital culture.
