Collecting and documenting about cultural institutions and gender balance, especially in film institutions, my research aims to design a methodology based on elites theory for the cultural world. It collects data about the changes of members who rule the cultural institutions, which allows to analyse if the recruitment process of cultural elites is open towards the gender balance principle of the Agenda 2030 of the UN to achieve an sustainable, equality and inclusive society. Collecting and documenting about the cultural elites has been at the base to design a new methodology of work and research for opening the cultural institutions to women in order to introduce a gender approach in the cultural policies. My research explores and experiments with new methodologies like elites approach, which are not usual in the cultural system. It’s a work that aims to transfer knowledge to the society to elaborate a new cultural policy which be gender inclusive.
