The Institute of Criminology at the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana (IK), Slovenia, is the leading Slovenian research organization in criminology. It has extensive experience of managing EU projects at all levels, with dedicated staff members who provide support to researchers in managing the funds received from the EU and communicating with EU agencies. The Institute has so far conducted 174 research projects, dealing with various issues of crime and criminal justice, including criminal policy, penology and corrections, juvenile delinquency and juvenile justice, children’s rights, social control, and criminal investigation.
