Cartographies of Ljubljana

Several cartographies were painted in Ljubljana as a method to analyse the territory explored through different kind of driftings. One of the main works were about gender violence in public spaces. It was one cartography painted in a big banner to be exhibited during Mladi Levi Festival. As a participatory artwork, women in the street could point in a map of Ljubljana the places were they suffered fear or sexual aggressions. Over the map, women could place a coloured stiker based on a legend of different levels of gender violence. It was artistic research with a social purpose.
