Dolors Palau-Sampio

Dolors Palau-Sampio (PhD, Autonomous University of Barcelona, Extraordinary Doctorate Award) is a senior lecturer of Journalism at the University of Valencia (Spain). Prior to her academic career, she worked as a journalist for nine years. Her research focuses on journalistic genres and styles, narrative journalism, quality journalism and accountability. She has also been visitor researcher at several universities in France, United Kingdom, Germany, Portugal, Chile, Argentina and Peru, in the three last cases as participant in the project Cultural Narratives of Crises and Renewal (CRIC) Horizon 2020 Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions, Research Innovation and Staff Exchanges, 2014-2018. Currently she is vice-dean of Commnication and Participation at the Faculty of Philology, Translation and Communication (University of Valencia).
