Speculative Series

This research intends to analyse and test the ways in which creativity can influence collaborative communities (economic, social, logistic influence, etc.). The research and creation are focused in the Cabanyal district of Valencia: a complex area under constant redefinition, where memories, cultures and communities interweave the territory.

In this context where the use of the earth and the mapping of the space are always changing and being reinvented, we create ephemeral interventions of art in different public spaces. We speak about fragility, memories, forms and aesthetic tensions. We question the visible and invisible, the meaning of refuge and displacement. During this process, we try to connect and generate a network between other cultural actors of Valencia in order to analyze, as an "experimental laboratory", the new links and interactions that creativity can make possible.
