My work deals with the issue of no property damages, which is a matter of civil law, that affects human rights too, because it analyzes themes like dignity, and the rights to life and health that are involved in the process of compensation system. The research field of my Ph.D. thesis belongs to the area of European Private Law. Specifically, I’m formulating an hypothesis of a system of protection of the person in the field of compensation for damages, that have a supranational or international level. In fact, even though the individual Member States of the European Union demonstrate a propensity to perfect a person's protective system that aims at the full restoration of the same from any form of moral damage, I think that only an operation of European harmonization of civil law in this area would allow to guarantee a full and total protection of the individual.
